JULY 2009 PROGRAMME

An important message from the bar staff:

Please be aware that the basement bar does not open until 8.30pm.

Visitors to the club arriving before 8.30pm are politely asked to get their drinks from the upstairs bar. Thank you.

Sat 4th BBQ at Rick’s, Littlehampton from 6.00pm. Bring your own meat & drink, salad etc will be provided. Phone Rick or Enid for directions.

Sun 5th Sunday lunch at the Swan Pub, Worthing (as recommended by Pat & Pat from Lancing). Please if you are going put your name on the sheet on the notice board as we will need to book in advance.

Tues 7th Club Night at The Charles Dickens 8.30 – 11.00pm. Dancing, socialising, a drink or two maybe and have a ticket for the raffle. For members there is the chance of winning the snowball and / or door prize.

Fri 10th Darts in the Locomotive, Littlehampton, buffet supplied 7.30pm for 8.00pm start. Phone Malcolm for further details.

Sun 12th Walk with Keith. Meet at 10.00am in The Triangle car park, in the triangle of roads adjacent to and just to the west of Goodwood Race Course, about a mile south of Singleton. Bring a picnic lunch and a drink for a circular walk of about 7.5 miles over the Downs. For any queries phone Keith. More info and map...

Sat 18th Curry night at the Jafran in Broadwater, come along and have a curry with your friends in a pleasant environment. If you are going please put your name on the sheet on the notice board as we will need to book in advance.

Sun 19th Bike ride with Ray, from Shoreham to Henfield along the old railway track. Bring a packed lunch & drink. Meet at the Old Toll Bridge at 10.30am.

Tue 21st Club Night at The Charles Dickens 8.30 – 11.00pm. Dancing, socialising, a drink or two maybe and have a ticket for the raffle. For members there is the chance of winning the snowball and / or door prize + quiz set by Peter.

Thu 23rd Meet in the Bali Brasserie, Kingsway Court, 1st Avenue, Hove at 8.00pm for live music & dancing. Meals available. Several members have been on a Thursday and had a very enjoyable evening. Speak to Ray for further details.

Sat 25th BBQ at Barry’s, Portslade starting from 6.30pm. As usual bring your own meat & drink. For further details phone Barry.

Sun 26th Pitch & putt at Arundel followed by lunch at a nearby pub. Meet at the course located in Mill Road opposite the castle at 10.00am for coffee before commencing.
