Friday 3rd May: Ten Pin Bowling on the first Friday of the month. Meet in the bar at Worthing Bowl at 8pm. £11.35 for two games. Contact Glyn if you would like to go.
Tuesday 7th May: Phil’s Music Quiz on Club Night at the John Selden. Phil will be holding a short music quiz tonight – nothing too difficult, but it should be fun! Doors open 8pm until 11pm. Plenty of time left for catching up with friends and dancing to the Disco. Usual raffle, door prize and Snowball.
Sunday 12th May: Skittles at the Black Horse, Findon. 7.30pm start. Please contact Glyn if you would like to go.
Tuesday 14th May: Horsey Racing Game on Club Night at the John Selden. Doors open 8pm until 11pm. This is our very popular and exciting ‘horse’ racing game. For just £1 a go, you get all the excitement of the track, and you might just go home a winner! The races only take around half an hour, so plenty of time to meet friends and dance to the music of one of our own DJs. Usual raffle, door prize and Snowball.
Tuesday 21st May: Club Night at the John Selden. Doors open 8pm until 11pm. Tonight, we have all night to chat to friends and dance to the music of one of our own DJs. Usual raffle, door prize and Snowball.
Friday 24th May: Darts Night at the John Selden. Meet at 8pm for an 8.30pm start. Costs £1 to play, but you can just come along to watch and socialise. You don’t have to be an expert either, and you can always borrow someone’s darts, if you don’t have a set of your own. All the monies go into the prizes. Please put your name on the list if you want to come, or contact Enid in case of cancellation.
Tuesday 28th May: Live Band The Hound Dawgs on Club Night at the John Selden. Live rock and roll duo playing hits from the fifties onwards – the best music to dance to! Margaret is celebrating her birthday tonight, so there will be cake and nibbles as well! Doors open 8pm to 11pm. Usual raffle, door prize and Snowball. Collect your June Programme tonight.
Friday 31st May: Arun Solos Disco at Arundel Cricket Club. Cheap drinks and a popular venue with Breakaway members. Starts 8pm until 11.30pm. Cost £7 on the door.
Forthcoming Events
Sunday 2nd June: Our first BBQ of the year on Goring Green (weather permitting). Starts from 12 noon. Bring your own meat, salad and bread, we will provide the barbecues and Enid will bring the cakes! We have our own gazebo, but don’t forget to bring a chair! Please put your name on the list if you would like to go.
Tuesday 4th June: Hilary’s Picture Quiz on Club Night at the John Selden.
Sunday 9th June: Putting at Arundel (weather permitting). Meet at 10.30am. Names on list if you would like to go or contact Enid for more details.
Sunday 23rd June: Sunday Lunch at the Pavilion Bowls Club. Names on list if you would like to go. Please note that this date is yet to be confirmed.
Saturday 6th July: Coach Trip to Bletchley Park. Date and details yet to be confirmed.
Saturday 13th July: Breakaway’s Super Summer Party at the Pavilion Bowls Club. Finger buffet. Our own DJ. Costs £12 per person. 7.30pm to 11pm. The tickets will be Lucky Number tickets, so keep them safe! Please put your name down on the list if you would like to go.

The Chairperson, the Committee and the Club accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any personal injury, loss or damage suffered by any member who by application for membership of the Club and the acceptance of this Constitution agrees to accept any risks whatsoever that may be attached to any venue or events or other members of the Club.
Notice is hereby given to all members to make investigation and enquiry of venues and events after which members shall decide whether or not they wish to attend and accept any risk there may be to such attendance.
