Friday 1st November Ten Pin Bowling on the first Friday of the month. Meet in the bar at Worthing Bowl at 8pm. £11.35 for two games. Contact Glyn if you would like to go.
Tuesday 5th November NO BREAKAWAY CLUB NIGHT.
Friday 8th November Live Band Night with the Hound Dawgs at the John Selden. This talented and popular rock duo will be playing hits from the 50s onwards, so put on your dancing shoes and bring your friends! £2.50 for members, £3.50 for non-members. Nibbles will be provided. 8-11pm. There will also be two Lucky Number door prizes so don’t forget to pick up your ticket when you come in!
Sunday 10th November Skittles at the Black Horse, Findon. 7.30pm start. Please contact Glyn if you would like to go.
Tuesday 12th November Club Night at the John Selden. Doors open 8pm to 10.45pm. Tonight, someone (who shall be nameless) is celebrating their 70th birthday, so there will be birthday cake and nibbles! And still plenty of time to catch up with friends and dance to the music of one of our own DJs. Usual raffle, door prize and Snowball.
Wednesday 13th November Lunch and Greyhound Racing at Hove Greyhound Stadium, Nevill Road, Hove, BN3 7BZ. £9 for one course, £12 for two courses, £15 for three courses. Please see the poster on the noticeboard for more details, or contact Richard.
Sunday 17th November Hilary’s Visit to Hove Museum. 19, New Church Road, Hove, BN3 4AB. Displays of toys, cinema, local history, fine art and crafts. Tea and cakes afterwards. Meet at 1.50pm. See poster or contact Hilary for more details regarding getting there by car and/or bus.

Tuesday 26th November Hilary’s Beer/Lager Label Picture Quiz on Club Night at the John Selden. Doors open 8pm to 10.45pm. How well do we know our beers? Here is a chance for us to do a bit of ‘research’ into this very important topic! This short quiz leaves plenty of time for chatting to friends and dancing to the music of one of our own DJs. Usual raffle, door prize and Snowball. Pick up your December programme tonight.

Tuesday 10th December ‘Horsey Game’ on Club Night at the John Selden.
Saturday 14th December Breakaway’s Christmas Party Dinner and Disco at Hillbarn Golf Club. £12pp (£16 if you want a starter as well). Our yearly chance to get on our ‘gladrags’ and celebrate Christmas with our Breakaway friends! Please note that the list is now full as we have been limited to 48 people. If you have put your name down to go, please pay your money as soon as possible to guarantee your place, as we will need to pay the venue soon. Please also make sure that you bring your Lucky Number ticket with you, as there will be a prize draw. Arrive 7pm to be seated by 7.30pm. The music will be finishing around 11pm.
Tuesday 17th December Grand Christmas Draw on Club Night at the John Selden. Lots of lovely prizes, so get your numbers chosen as soon as possible. We will be bringing the Number Board round every week from 29th October onwards. £1 per number.

Notice is hereby given to all members to make investigation and enquiry of venues and events after which members shall decide whether or not they wish to attend and accept any risk there may be to such attendance.
